The world today is filled with amazing devices that makes life easier for use to live. Some devices offer a more convenient way of doing office work, some devices can provide us with comfort, some devices can let us communicate better, and some devices offers high quality entertainment wherever we go.

In the past, the walkman portable cassette player was considered to be one of the best portable music players in the world. With it, you will be able to listen to your favorite music wherever you go. It was the "in" thing in the past and thanks to this, it has evolved in to something better.

Portable CD players were also very popular in the mid 90s and people just can't have enough of it. With the high quality digital sound it offers, almost everyone wanted to have one and almost everyone did have one. However, the problem with portable CD players is that it skipped especially when you subject it to bumps and vibrations. For example, whenever you go jogging, you will experience skips on the music as you produce bumps and vibrations when you go jogging. Even shock dampeners and shock absorbers built inside the portable CD players weren’t enough.

This paved the way to developing the iPod. During its first appearance, the Apple iPod became so popular among a lot of people. With the ability to store and play gigabytes worth of mp3 format music, people were now able to listen to their favorite tunes without having to change a CD. Because the music is stored on a built-in hard drive, the iPod never produced any skips in audio even when it is subjected to bumps and vibrations. This made the iPod the most popular mp3 player in the world.
